Imagine a future where working folks, artists, and other everyday people can get an affordable place to live. When will this come to be? Seems like a fantasy for now. In the meantime, enjoy Habitation, a small rechargeable illuminated sculpture inspired by futurist architecture. Light emanates from the top and bottom as well as from curved slots on both sides of the suspended wood body.

Habitation’s light sequence, composed of 16 RGB LEDs, fades at random intervals, in a random order, through meditative warm and cool tones. This piece can operate plugged into a USB outlet or charged for eight or more hours of untethered operation.
