CNC-cut cherry, painted laser-cut steel, acrylic, microcontroller, RGB LEDs, lithium battery
Bubbling pink bog and color-changing fog will greet you in Mistwood. Let the fantasy being.
Mistwood is illuminated from both sides by 26 RGB LEDs, fading through meditative warm and cool tones at random intervals and in random order. It can run plugged into USB power, or untethered for six-plus hours on a charge. A button toggles the piece between standard always-on mode and "sculpture mode," which lets it operate unplugged for more than a month by fading in and out at random intervals of 8 to 12 minutes.
Dimensions: 7.5”w × 7.5”h × 2”d (190 × 190 × 51 mm)
